More About Blossom Pride
The Issue
The issue is period poverty, which refers to the lack of access to sanitary products and menstrual education. This can lead to health problems, educational disruption, and stigma for those affected
How We Help
We provide sanitary pads and menstrual education to young girls, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge to manage their menstrual health with confidence and dignity.

Revolutionizing Menstrual Education and Access -
The "M-WORD"
Menstruation, or your period, is a normal part of a healthy woman's life. Menstruation typically starts 1-3 years after puberty begins, following the growth spurt and breast development. With a positive attitude and proper menstrual hygiene products, you can maintain your daily activities during this time. Some women experience irritability, known as Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS), before or during their periods. Each woman's experience varies, and some may not have any PMS symptoms. If PMS or menstrual pain is severe, consult a doctor for treatment.
What People Say
Thank you for the difference you made in the daily needs of our girls in boarding school with the generous donation of sanitary pads received in November 2023. God Bless the service you render!
Our school has 211 girls from a community with heartbreaking social circumstances. Not every girl can afford a pack of sanitary pads on a monthly basis. Blossom Pride in partnership with BTE Mulilo, saves the dignity of these vulnerable girls every month. Please do not forget about the Boy-Child, they also need education on puberty and the transition from boyhood to manhood. Another need is toiletries for both girls and boys. Thank you for the good work!.
Girls will always need education around puberty and menstruation. Not all parents can afford sanitary pads for the girl child on a monthly basis, which leads to a number of factors which infringe the dignity of the child. Thank you, Blossom Pride funded by Solar Capital De Aar 3, for donating sanitary pads on a quarterly basis to our school.
